We are looking for an Accountant to join a leading global multinational organization based in Sydney's CBD.
This Accountant will be responsible for preparing statutory accounts and making sure compliance and internal guidelines are met.

- Prepare statutory accounts and facilitate audit processes, liaising with auditors.
- Manage month-end close, including account reconciliation, preparation of journal entries, and review of monthly financial accounts.
- Review and manage all aspects of leases and lease accounting, including lease creation processes.
- Apply accounting techniques and standard practices to classify and record financial transactions, including treasury transactions.
- Assist with process improvement and help improve operational efficiency's
- Collaborate across the business and with international shared services team
The successful Accountant should have the following experience and skills:
- Bachelor's Degree or working towards CA/CPA is desirable
- Experience working for multinational or large complex organizations
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SAP and S4 Hana is desirable
- Extensive stakeholder management and experience with a shared services team
- Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate initiative
