Your Role:
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for a wide range of accounting functions for various entities. Your responsibilities will include:
... - Preparing financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
- Handling tax matters, including annual tax and monthly BAS preparation.
- Conducting quarterly reconciliations of balance sheet items.
- Preparing monthly management reports, annual budgets, and forecasts.
- Analysing financial data to support effective decision-making and problem-solving.
- Maintaining asset registers, including the revaluation of investment properties.
- Reviewing and approving accounts payable invoices and payment batches, as well as monthly bank reconciliations.
- Providing support to the accounting functions of group companies and assisting other accountants as needed.
- Assisting with the annual audit process, month-end processes, CAPEX worksheets, and corporate credit card coding.
- Tackling ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications and requirements for the position:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CA or CPA Qualification
- Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship.
- Willingness to undergo 10 year Criminal History check.
- Successful candidates will need to undergo pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
