• Generate accurate monthly management reports and financial data for budget monitoring, including variance analysis for stakeholders.
• Review, post journals, and investigate errors in SAP and Business Warehouse systems.
• Cultivate collaborative relationships with clients and stakeholders through regular meetings to address financial issues.
• Contribute to budget planning, forecasting, and financial modelling, identifying implications and supporting the annual Estimates process.
• Monitor the capital program's compliance with Government financial legislation and departmental policies for asset capitalization.
• Enhance finance functions by reviewing and refining systems, procedures, and reporting methods using SAP and Business Warehouse.
• Offer professional expertise in project accounting and asset management.
• Ensure adherence to Government financial legislation and departmental policies for financial reporting and operational matters.

• Demonstrated SAP experience in relation to cost centre accounting, including a high level of computer literacy in excel.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including the ability to obtain and interpret information and make suitable recommendations.
• Thorough knowledge of legislation and policies relating to financial and operational issues.
• Ability to provide advice, guidance and training to the team, ensuring that the team is adhering to all policies and standards and effectively using established systems and tools.
• Tertiary qualifications in the fields of Finance, Business or other related study would be highly regarded.
