The Role:
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with residential builders across Melbourne. You will play a key role in expanding our market presence, driving sales growth, and delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the residential building sector.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and decision-makers.
Understand client needs and provide tailored timber solutions.
Achieve sales targets and KPIs by effectively managing the sales pipeline.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.
Keep up to date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activity.
About You:
Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar sales-focused role within the construction, timber, or building materials industry.
Strong knowledge of the residential building market and its key players.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Results-driven with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
A genuine passion for timber products and the building industry.
