Job Title: A08 Manager, Communications and Engagement
Overview:
The A08 Manager, Communications and Engagement is responsible for leading and managing the organization’s communication, engagement, education, and marketing activities. This includes planning, executing, and reporting on campaigns, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring strategic alignment with organizational goals. The role also involves team leadership, content development, and continuous improvement of communication strategies and prior management experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage a team of communications professionals, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative culture.
- Campaign Management: Lead the execution of state-wide campaigns and public relations initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government, advocacy groups, and social services.
- Strategy Development: Oversee the creation and implementation of communication, education, and engagement strategies, including social media, marketing, and event planning.
- Reporting & Improvement: Measure the effectiveness of initiatives and report on outcomes, driving continuous improvement.
- Financial Management: Manage team expenses, budgets, and ensure efficient resource use.
- Workplace Safety & Ethics: Promote a safe, inclusive, and ethical work environment.
- Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support organizational goals.
