We are seeking a creative and results-driven Digital Marketing & Social Media Officer with a strong focus on social media management to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and executing social media strategies, driving engagement, and enhancing brand presence across multiple digital platforms. This role will involve creating compelling content, managing campaigns, analyzing performance metrics, and staying ahead of digital marketing trends.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy & Management
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company’s goals and brand identity.
- Manage and oversee the daily execution of social media campaigns across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Create and curate high-quality content that resonates with target audiences, ensuring consistency with the company’s brand voice and messaging.
- Monitor, moderate, and respond to social media conversations, fostering positive engagement with followers and potential customers.
- Build and nurture an active, engaged online community by interacting with followers, responding to comments and messages in a timely manner, and managing brand reputation.
- Implement social listening techniques to track conversations relevant to the brand, industry trends, and competitor activity.
- Create and manage social media contests, giveaways, and other engagement initiatives to drive interaction and loyalty.
Content Creation & Optimization
- Collaborate with the content and design teams to produce visually compelling, on-brand content such as graphics, videos, and blog posts for social media.
- Develop a content calendar that aligns with key marketing initiatives, events, and campaigns.
- Ensure content is optimized for each platform (image sizes, post timing, hashtags, etc.) to maximize engagement.
Brand Monitoring & Crisis Management
- Monitor social media channels for potential brand reputation issues, addressing concerns promptly and effectively.
- Coordinate with the communications team to implement crisis management plans if necessary, ensuring brand consistency and transparency.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience (2+ years) in social media management, digital marketing, or communications, with a portfolio or case studies demonstrating successful campaigns.
- Platforms: Expertise in managing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube) and familiarity with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, etc.).
- Content Creation: Strong ability to create engaging content, including text, images, videos, and infographics.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in using social media analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.) to measure and report on campaign performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
- Creative Thinking: Ability to think creatively and come up with fresh, innovative ideas for campaigns, content, and engagement strategies.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt quickly to changes in social media algorithms, platform updates, and evolving trends.
