so who are Australia’s most attractive employers and industries for 2017?
At last night’s awards, we were thrilled to announce Qantas as the Most Attractive Employer and aviation as the Most Attractive Sector.
Qantas beat VIC Government and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation to second and third spots, respectively.
Australians rewarded Qantas for innovation with technology, financial health and a strong reputation, whilst VIC Government rocketed into the second position thanks to job security, financial health and opportunities for career progression.
The Australian Broadcasting Corporation rounded out the top three, scoring well for reputation, offering a stimulating and challenging workplace, and innovation with latest technologies.
It was no surprise that the aviation industry was once again named the most attractive for the fourth year running. Aussies love to travel and working for an airline offers not only the opportunity to travel the world, but is is also an industry that is seen as offering good financial compensation and real opportunities for career development.
The aviation sector was followed by:
- technology
- mining and natural resources
- state and federal government
- and media sectors.
