Every year, as part of our commitment to shaping the world of work, Randstad conducts the world’s largest independent survey into employer branding.

The survey asks respondents to rate the top factors they consider when looking for a new job (including competitive salary package, work/life balance and flexible working arrangements.

The businesses (largest by employee size) that stand out for being the most in-demand, attractive employer brands across the country in 2013 are:

  1. ABC
  2. Virgin Australia
  3. BAE Systems
  4. Channel 7
  5. Qantas
  6. Department of Immigration & Citizenship
  7. Department of Health & Ageing
  8. Newcrest Mining
  9. Coca-Cola Amatil
  10. GHD

Interestingly, ABC has always performed strongly in our best employer survey, having secured a place in the top 10 every year since the inaugural Randstad Awards ceremony three years ago.

However, 2013 is the first year the company has secured top billing.

ABC ranked high for employer preference with women and the 25-64 age demographics. They were awarded for their excellence in providing an outstanding work-life balance, strong workplace culture and good learning and development opportunities.
