compete in the challenge for your chance to win an exclusive trip to Williams F1 Racing Team HQ in the UK

In close cooperation with engineers of the Williams Formula 1 Racing team, Randstad is on the hunt for Australia’s fastest problem solvers in engineering with The Engineering Challenge.

From 1 to 22 November 2016, Australian engineers can compete in three ‘laps’ of challenges. Each lap of questions are only available for one week and prizes awarded to the top participants each week.

Prizes include official Williams Martini Racing merchandise packs, the opportunity to meet the Williams team during 2017 race week in Melbourne and a Grand Final Prize - the Australian contestant with the most number of correct answers and fastest overall time over all three ‘laps’ of challenges will win this once in lifetime prize – the opportunity to spend the day at the Williams F1 HQ and factory in Oxfordshire, UK with the grand final winners from Belgium, Germany, Japan, Netherlands and the United Kingdom. The winners will be given return economy flights, one night’s accommodation and an exclusive tour of the Williams F1 factory, where they will meet members of the Williams engineering team and will test their driving skills in a Formula One simulator.

Randstad has been the official partner of the Williams Martini Racing Team since 2006 and in that time has been committed to boosting investment in nurturing engineering and technology careers in Australia and around the world. We have specialised in engineering recruitment and engineer careers for over 55 years globally.

We are hoping the Randstad Engineering Challenge will encourage further love of engineering and Formula One racing, to keep our passionate Williams F1 racing fans connected to the team, and to inspire more young Australians to consider STEM as an exciting career path.

Williams Martini Racing works at the cutting edge in pursuit of perfection, with a team of more than 500 operating behind the scenes to keep two F1 drivers on the track every race. Through this partnership and The Engineering Challenge, we hope to highlight the invaluable positions in Formula One racing, from aerodynamicists, who work with wind tunnels and advanced structural designs, to power electricians experimenting with ignition timing and fuel injection.

We also hope a flow-on benefit of this challenge is that we boost STEM careers through our investment in the Randstad Williams Engineering Academy, where we offer exclusive e-learning programs for budding engineers across the globe, combined with mentorship from Williams F1 and career guidance from Randstad.

If you’d like more information or wish to compete in the ultimate engineering racing challenge, please visit https://www.randstad.com.au and sign up today! And please note, in order to win the Grand Final prize you MUST enter all three challenges over the next three weeks! So be sure to put alerts in your calendar!

Good luck!
