field service mechanical fitter.

Randstad are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Fitter for a role which is 70% FIFO and 30% Perth based. This is a permanent full time position.

Our client specialised in hydraulic systems for fixed plant equipment such as brakes, clutches and power units.

While based in Perth, your role will be to perform overhauls on the hydraulic systems that come back from site. The FIFO based side of the role will be scheduled shutdowns and the occasional emergency breakdown.

To be considered for the role, you must meet the following requirements

• Hold a Mechanical Trade Certificate
• Have hydraulics experience (desirable, not essential)
• Full working rights in Australia already in place as sponsorship not available
• Able to pass a full medical and drug/alcohol screen

On offer is a package of around $160k on target earnings, made up of base salary $100k, plus penalty rates for overtime (including when FIFO) and a $100 per day site allowance when working FIFO.
