Role Overview:
As the Environment Change & Release Manager, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of Siebel-related changes and releases. This position plays a key role in ensuring operational stability, efficient deployments, and alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and oversee the release lifecycle, including scheduling, coordination, and deployment of Siebel changes across environments.
- Ensure proper configuration, management, and optimisation of Siebel environments to support delivery and operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement release processes, governance, and best practices.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with environment changes and releases, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
- Monitor and report on release performance, identifying opportunities for process improvements.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including release plans, schedules, and post-release reviews.
- Act as a point of escalation for environment and release-related issues, providing timely resolution and expert guidance.
- Drive automation and efficiency improvements in release and deployment processes.
Key Requirements:
- Extensive experience in environment management and release processes, with a strong focus on Siebel systems.
- Proven expertise in Siebel CRM, including deployment, configuration, and integration.
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and best practices for change and release management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex technical challenges.
- Proficiency in tools and platforms for release management and environment monitoring.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Relevant certifications in ITIL, DevOps, or similar disciplines are highly desirable.
