Given the nature of disaster recovery work, positions will be located throughout the Gold Coast and assignment durations are dependent on the impact of a natural disaster. You must be flexible with availability and willing to travel to different locations throughout the Gold Coast, as and when needed. This position is at AO4 level, paying $58.02 p/hr plus super.
Duties:
- Helping individuals and families with practical information, referring them to support services.
- Administrative Support
- Grant assessment and application processing
- Data Entry
- Inbox management
- Customer service
Key Skills/experience required:
- Flexible with availability - able to work mornings / evenings and on weekends if required.
- Available immediately - ability to start next day if required
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Previous customer facing experience
- Be a fast learner and able to operative in a fast paced and changing environment
- An ability to demonstrate empathy and a willingness to respect others’ needs
- An ability to use initiative and adapt quickly to changing work priorities
- High attention to detail
