... About the role
This role aims to oversee the promotion and communication of free road safety education programs and resources provided by the agency to Victorian schools. You will work under the Manager of Education and Community Programs, within a dedicated team of road safety experts covering education, government grants, community engagement, and program development.
The Assignment
- 6 month assignment starting asap
- Part time (2 or 3 days per week)
- Melbourne office - travel around regional victoria and may be required at times.
- Hourly rate negotiable, commensurate with experience
What you will do
- Plan, execute, and oversee a comprehensive promotion strategy for the agency’s educational programs and resources.
- Coordinate creation, distribution, and monitoring of written, video, and photo content across agency channels.
- Develop engaging digital and social media content.
- Send eDM communications through the Victorian schools CRM database and analyse metrics.
- Identify and leverage opportunities to expand program reach.
- Monitor performance of promotion activities, measure stakeholder engagement, and provide monthly reports.
- Collaborate with agency Marketing, Advertising, and Digital Marketing Teams..
- Manage procurement related to program promotion.
- Handle administrative tasks including budget tracking, invoicing, operational enhancements, proofreading/editing, and distribution of promotional materials
What you will have
- Experience in managing diverse below the line communication and promotion channels.
- Experience in education program promotion or knowledge of the Victorian school system is beneficial.
- Proficient in writing and editing copy for various audiences across social, web, advertising, and collateral, with keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrates initiative, adaptability, and a problem-solving mindset to meet organisational goals.
