... Your new role as ICT Vendor Manager:
As the ICT Vendor Manager, the primary objective is to oversee the lifecycle management of all managed assets, including hardware, software, licences, warranties, and other related items. Additionally, this role involves facilitating vendor contract performance assessments and aiding in monthly reporting activities by forecasting and monitoring expenditure for ICT vendors.
- Supervising the lifecycle management of assets, ensuring proper identification, control, and protection, with accurate information readily available.
- Developing and reviewing the Asset Replacement Program.
- Monitoring software licences for optimal utilisation and maintaining distribution tools.
- Providing guidance on hardware maintenance, software licensing, and legal obligations.
- Managing the IT contract register, tracking expenditure across all IT costs, and addressing discrepancies.
- Contributing to contract reviews and negotiations to achieve savings.
- Establishing a review process to assess performance against contract KPIs, providing data to senior managers, and supporting performance review meetings with vendors.
About you:
- Proven capability to comprehend and implement procurement, contract management, policies, and/or procedures
- Prior experience in ICT procurement, ideally in government
- Proven communication skills, along with negotiation, and conflict resolution
- Knowledge and experience in using SAP
