Randstad are looking for an experienced Fleet Manager to join the reputable team in one of Victoria’s key Emergency services providers.
You will be responsible for managing the organisation's vehicle fleet and associated activities from commission to decommission and scheduling maintenance for the assets, as well as leading a small team of direct and indirect reports.
Key accountabilities
- Act as point of contact for fleet management and provide strong leadership and management across the organisation to ensure high performance outcomes.
- Provide operational and strategic fleet planning to ensure the fleet requirements are met, which includes the development and release of fleet replacement plans in-line with policy.
- Provide the delivery of fleet capital projects on time, within budget and aligned with organisational objectives and lead preventative maintenance programs to maintain the organisations fleet assets.
- Management of 80 sites and their associated Fleet vehicles, approximately 2 vehicles per site.
About you
- Proficient Communication Skills, Computer Literacy, Relationship Building skills
- Thorough understanding of fleet management practices and relevant policies and regulations
- Proven experience as a confident people manager who is successful in managing and empowering small teams and building a positive bond and work ethic
