This Federal Government agency based in Surry Hills is currently seeking an Experienced APS5 Project Officer on a Part Time basis (2 days per week) for 6 months. Working within a Strategic team who’s aim is to reduce health implications on those across Australia.

Duties and responsibilities may include:
- Offering assistance with project coordination, procurement, and management of budgets.
- Managing contracts, which includes overseeing and evaluating the outputs from external groups/organisations.
- Evaluation and monitoring of evidence to aid in the formulation of best practice guidelines.
- Supporting initiatives for health communication.
- Creating well-prepared plans, reports, and briefing documents.
- Ensuring project outcomes align with organisational policies and procedures.
- Arranging meetings and performing secretarial tasks.
- Communicating with both internal and external stakeholders
Your profile will demonstrate:
- An understanding of strategic goals
- Proven success in achieving outcomes whilst collaborating with the wider team
- Stakeholder management and confidentiality
- Promoting ethical behaviours and following code of conduct
- Previous APS experience
- Strong communication and organisation experience
- Must be able to complete and maintain a clear police check
- Australian citizenship (mandatory).
