- Randstad signs a 12-month contract for 38 hours per week with the trainee, and a 12-month contract with the client (your centre) for 36 hours a week.
- The extra 2 hours a week Randstad pays for study time for the trainee.
- Once the trainee completes the course, they can transfer to the host centre’s payroll free of charge. Randstad will manage the program from enrolment through to completion, so there is no administration for an early learning centre.
- An invoice is sent weekly.

- Under regulations 126(1) and 127 of the National Regulations, these trainees can be classed towards your ratios as they are actively working towards a Certificate III or Diploma trained educator.

- No RTO Certificate III or Diploma course cost.

what we ask from our client partners hosting a trainee.
- To host our trainees for 36 hours a week over 12 months.
- To buddy the trainee up with a supervisor who holds a Cert III/Diploma or above trained in ECEC.
- For the supervisor to support the trainee throughout the duration of their course and to complete third party assessment reports (supporting competency sign off alongside the trainer, around 3 hours in total across the 12 months).
- To allow the trainer onsite to assess the trainee, at agreed times.
- To treat the trainee as a permanent team member at your Early Learning Centre, eg. supply uniforms, attend team meetings, etc.
- Allow the trainee to use a room to study onsite 2 hours a week (the 2 hours are paid for by Randstad).
